§ 7-9. Exceptions from chapter.

The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to:
(a)

Funeral processions; but funeral directors are requested to give advance notice to the chief of police so that he may arrange for the expeditious handling of traffic.

(b)

Students going to or from school classes or participating in educational or recreational activity where such activity is under the supervision and direction of proper school authorities.

(c)

Any governmental agency acting within the scope of its functions.
